According to reports, the Indian Police were surrounded by Hindu extremists to target the attacks on the property of Masjid Muslims in the state of Tabrina. Several organisations’ staff were arrested and tortured by the protesters.
Police detained Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Tripura police, and many protestors chanting slogans against the state’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for failing to protect mosques, Muslim shops, and residences, according to Kashmir Media Service.
