The All Pakistan Petrol Pumps Owners Association (APPPOA) on Wednesday postponed its planned nationwide strike after successful negotiations with the federal government, while the Petroleum Dealers Association also endorsed the decision. Petrol pump owners and dealers had earlier announced a 24-hour nationwide shutdown from Thursday in protest against the government’s decision to revise petroleum product prices on a daily basis.
