Israel’s right-wing Settlements Minister said that she would disband the cabinet if the country’s military withdraws its troops from Gaza. “If they remove the army from the Netzarim axis and Philadelphi axis, we will disband the government. Netanyahu knows this very well,” Israel’s Kan public broadcaster quoted Orit Strock as saying. The Netzarim axis cuts across Gaza from east to west, while the Philadelphi Corridor runs along the border with Egypt, from Kerem Abu Salem in the south to the Mediterranean Sea.
