The Gaza Health Ministry announced the death toll in the enclave rose to 38,713 on Tuesday, after 49 Palestinians were killed in the previous 24 hours. Another 69 were wounded, taking the total number of injured to 89,166. The majority of victims are women and children, according to the ministry.
