UAE President Sheikh Mohamed discussed the war in Gaza with Sheikh Tamim, the Emir of Qatar, during a meeting in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, according to Wam news agency. “They stressed the importance of intensifying efforts aimed at achieving an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and providing full protection for civilians in accordance with the rules of international humanitarian law, in addition to enhancing the response to the worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza,” the statement read.
