The UK Marine Trade Operations agency reported an “incident” off the coast of Oman. Authorities are investigating the incident, said to have taken place 50 nautical miles east of Sohar, it said on X. It comes amid regular Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea, with the militant group claiming to target vessels bound for Israel amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
