In a post on X, The Turkish presidency’s communications director, Burhanettin Duran, said “the Mecca Agreement, which is not aimed at any particular country, will strengthen the shared security and collective deterrence” of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkiye. As a result, he added, the pact will significantly contribute “to the preservation of peace and stability in our region.”
