Israeli forces, backed by fighter jets and drones, carried out a second ground raid in as many days, striking targets on the outskirts of Gaza city. The raid came as Israel prepared for a large-scale invasion of the enclave. The Israeli military said that ground forces entered Gaza and struck dozens of militant targets over the previous 24 hours.
