The head of the UN’s agency for Palestine refugees said the world could not continue to turn a blind eye to the “hell on earth” in Gaza. Head of UNRWA Philippe Lazzarini said there was a need for 160,000 litres of fuel a day to supply hospitals, bakeries, and the agency’s operations. “Our aid operation is crumbling. For the first time ever they report that people are hungry,” he said.
