Gaza agreement a ‘comprehensive package,’ not just about weapons: Hamas official

Hamas official Ghazi Hamad says the Gaza agreement is a “comprehensive package” that goes beyond disarmament. It includes an end to the Israel’s military offensive, the full withdrawal of troops from the Gaza Strip, the deployment of the National Committee and international forces as well as reconstruction, he told Al Jazeera. On the issue of heavy weapons, Hamad said the group spoke “clearly and unequivocally” about its intention to store its arsenal under the responsibility and supervision of the National Committee.
