A US military judge has rejected confessions made by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the man accused of masterminding the 9/11 attacks, ruling that statements he gave to FBI agents were not voluntary and cannot be used at trial. Katz says Israeli forces to remain in Syria-Lebanon border area

Defence Minister Israel Katz says Israeli forces will remain in the Jabal al-Sheikh (Mount Hermon) area and Syria’s security zone “as long as there are threats”.
