5.6-magnitude earthquake jolts Islamabad, Peshawar, adjoining areas

Tremors were felt in several parts of Pakistan, including Islamabad, on Friday evening after a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck. In a statement, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the quake’s epicentre was in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region.
