A senior official has announced that the European Union’s medicines watchdog stated that it could start an examination of the oral Covid-19 drug manufactured by the US pharmaceutical company Merck in coming days. “We will be considering whether to start a rolling review for this compound in the next days,” said Marco Cavaleri, head of the vaccine strategy at the European Medicines Agency.
