Anas Haqqani, a senior Taliban leader along with his associates, visited the tomb of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi in Afghanistan’s Ghazni Province and offered prayers. He also shared pictures of his visit to the shrine on Twitter and wrote that Mahmud Ghaznavi, from Ghazni, had established Muslim rule in the region.
