Over the last two decades, China’s economy has grown, making it the world’s largest country as well as the richest, overtaking its bitter rival, the United States.

According to the research arm of consulting firm McKinsey & Co., China is among the top ten countries in the world, accounting for more than 60% of global revenue.

China is the world’s richest nation, having amassed around one-third of the world’s net wealth over the last two decades. Jan Mishke, a partner at the McKinsey Global Institute in Zurich, remarked, “We are richer than ever.”
