An observation tower for the UN’s peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon was hit by an Israeli shell. Unifil said that there were no injuries from the shelling that hit the position, which is run by the Spanish contingent of the mission. Unifil patrols the demarcation line between Israel and Lebanon – countries technically at war – along the Blue Line.
