On Monday, IG Punjab Police Inam Ghani announced that strict legal action would be taken against the organizers of sit-ins and protests which are promoting insurgency. He also said that interruption of highways and other road blockade could disturb the daily life of citizens. He ordered the supervisory officers to take immediate action against insurgents.
