Torrential monsoon rains caused floods and landslides in India. The death toll due to natural calamities has risen to 125 and several people are still missing. Rescue teams are struggling to reach submerged houses by removing sludge and detritus to rescue people. In Maharashtra, several rivers are in danger of bursting out of their banks.
