Zupce: On Aug 1, NATO-led peacekeepers oversaw the removal of roadblocks protesters had set up in north Kosovo. Political tensions flared more than two decades since a crisis that ended with NATO airstrikes. The situation has revived faultiness with Serbia and Russia, neither of which recognize Western-aligned Kosovo as an independent state.
