At least 11 students at a primary school in the Australian city of Sydney have been injured after a classroom science experiment went wrong. According to reports, two students with serious burns were taken via ambulance to the hospital. Nine others are believed to have suffered superficial burns. An experiment involving sodium bicarbonate and methylated spirits was reportedly affected by a gust of wind. Helicopters, paramedics and fire engines responded to the incident. The incident occurred at Manly West Public School.
