Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif urged on Tuesday, a day after a telephone chat with his Chinese counterpart, to secure the security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

“Attempts to harm the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are not acceptable at all,” Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated at a high-level meeting in Islamabad.

He instructed the competent authorities to take immediate steps to improve the country’s law and order situation.
