The Indian Chief of Army Staff’s claim that the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) is holding because they negotiated from a “point of strength” has been categorically rejected as misleading by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar.

It was only approved due to Pakistan’s worries for the safety of Kashmiris residing on both sides of the Line of Conduct, according to a military spokeswoman on Friday.
