Manila: It was reported that the Philippines had detected two imported first cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant, the Department of Health said on Wednesday. It stated that the two Omicron variant cases, detected from 48 samples, sequenced on Dec. 14, were presently isolated in a quarantine facility.
