Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband on Thursday to discuss the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) and regional security, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said. Dar highlighted what Pakistan described as India’s continued violations of international obligations and stressed the need to uphold international law and treaty commitments. The IWT has faced renewed tensions since India announced in 2025 that it was putting its treaty obligations on hold following the Pahalgam attack.
