Devastating floods along the Nepal-Tibet border have killed at least 362 people, with around 1,000 still missing as rescue teams search for survivors. The US Geological Survey said the disaster was triggered by a glacial collapse, causing seismic activity and catastrophic downstream flooding. Dramatic surveillance footage from China showed a huge wave of mud and debris engulfing a multi-storey building, while vehicles were swept away. Rescue and recovery operations are continuing amid widespread destruction.
