Gaza city and the north of the territory are experiencing a communications cut for a second day, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported on Wednesday. The loss of internet and mobile services was caused by the Israeli military bombing the main fibre-optic line connecting Gaza to Israeli networks, Wafa said, quoting a post on the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority’s Facebook page. The authority said it was following up with all partners to repair the line and infrastructure, and urged relevant authorities to immediately intervene to achieve this.
