ISLAMABAD: A two-month-old boy was among 14 babies who died in Wednesday’s fire at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). The infant had remained unclaimed at the hospital since birth, where he was being cared for alongside other sick children. A Pims doctor said he was born on June 21 to a young girl believed to be around 15. Hospital staff said the family left after failing to provide documents proving marriage.
