Syrian FM Shaibani to Visit Pakistan Today: FO
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani will visit Pakistan on August 19-20 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the Foreign Office said Wednesday. He will lead a high-level delegation for discussions on bilateral relations, cooperation and regional and international developments. The visit is the first by a Syrian foreign minister since 2007 and follows the change of government in Damascus. Pakistan said the visit would strengthen ties and cooperation between both countries.
