The Israeli military has said it killed two Palestinian fighters in attacks on Gaza over the weekend, claiming they had taken part in the October 7, 2023, attack on Kibbutz Be’eri. The military identified them as Hamas platoon commander Mohammed Saeed Ahmed Nimroti and Muawiya Sulaiman Zakar Aydi, a platoon commander in Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) central camps battalion. There was no immediate comment from Hamas or PIJ.
