Philippe Lazzarini of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees said that Israel banned the entry of critical aid – including ventilators and cancer drugs – into Gaza, and refused entry to an aid lorry because of medical scissors. “Very little is coming and restrictions are increasing,” Lazzarini said in a post on X. “A truck loaded with aid was returned because it contained scissors used in medical kits for children,” he added.
