The 16th death anniversary of renowned film director Pervaiz Malik is being observed today. Born in 1937 in Karachi, Malik directed over 20 iconic films like Heera Aur Pathar and Doraha. Recognized with the President’s Pride of Performance award, he contributed immensely to Pakistani cinema. He passed away from cardiac arrest in Islamabad on this day in 2008.
