Pakistan skipper Babar Azam praised “Mama jee,” the man who helped Azam become the great batsman he is today, on Tuesday.
In a tweet, the right-handed batter paid respect to his mentor, naming him as one of the most important figures in his cricket career.
“His no compromise on punctuality actually made me a better cricketer and taught me things which will accompany me all my life. Respect your teachers, as they define your future. #WorldTeachersDay,” he tweeted.
