The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said a field hospital will not be established in Israel for sick Gazan children, a day after Defence Minister Yoav Gallant announced a plan to erect a field hospital for children unable to go abroad. “”Netanyahu opposes the establishment of a hospital for Gazans on Israeli territory,” his office said on Thursday. Mr Gallant said the plan was due to the continued closure of the Rafah border crossing, seized by the Israeli army in May.
