Jordan’s foreign ministry has condemned right-wing Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s Thursday visit to the Al Aqsa compound, in which said he prayed for PM Netanyahu to reject proposed ceasefire deals to end the war in Gaza. Ministry spokesman Sufyan Al Qudah said his visit was “a flagrant and unacceptable violation of international law and the existing historical and legal system in Jerusalem.” “Israel, the occupying power, has no right or sovereignty over the occupied city of Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian sanctities,” he added.
