Saudi Arabia welcomed the UN Security Council’s move to adopt the US-proposed resolution to endorse a US-drafted ceasefire proposal for Gaza. The plan includes a hostage exchange and a return to political negotiations to find sustainable solutions to the crisis in Gaza, and efforts to put an end to the human suffering in the enclave.
