Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati called on the international community to implement UN Resolution 1701, which demands a complete cessation of hostilities between Lebanon and Israel. “What is happening in southern Lebanon is a natural result of Israel’s attacks and violations of international laws. We demand the comprehensive implementation of Resolution 1701 and the cessation of Israeli violations,” Mr Mikati said during his address at the Arab League.
