A cargo plane from the UAE carrying more than nine tonnes of medical aid landed in Egypt on Monday. The shipment from the World Health Organisation is the latest addition to a massive stockpile at Al Arish airport near the Gaza border. An Egyptian Red Crescent official stated that 700 tonnes of aid had arrived since the start of the conflict on October 7 – enough for Gaza “and more”.
