The Ezzedine Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, launched a barrage of rockets toward Tel Aviv. The group claimed the action was in response to what it calls “Zionist massacres against civilians.” The rockets were fired from a location in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Izzat Al Rishq, a member of Hamas’ political bureau.
