Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi have discussed the war in a phone call, Ankara said on Monday afternoon. The call “addressed the Israel-Palestine conflict, the mounting tension in the region, and the steps that should be taken for the resolution,” the Turkish presidency said. Steps to escalate the conflict must be avoided, Erdogan added.
