President Arif Alvi appointed Zahoor Agha as the new governor of Balochistan after the resignation of the previous governor of Balochistan, retired Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai. Zahoor Agha is associated with PTI since 2006. It is said that PM Imran Khan asked Amanullah Khan Yasinzai to resign from his post as he wanted to appoint someone else as the governor of Balochistan due to prevalent coronavirus conditions in Pakistan.
