Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is expected to attend the annual Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where he is likely to hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Al Jazeera reported. The two-day summit begins on Monday, with Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also expected to attend. Earlier, the Iranian and Russian foreign ministers met in July during the SCO’s Council of Foreign Ministers meeting.
