China urges respect for sovereignty of Gulf states, Middle Eastern countries

China’s Vice President Han Zheng told the UN General Assembly on Saturday that “the world wants peace, not war,” urging respect for the sovereignty and security of Middle Eastern countries, including Gulf states. Arab League chief says Iran’s role towards Arab states is ‘extremely negative’

The Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Fahmy stated that the conflict in the Gulf region cannot be solved by military intervention and warned that “the crisis is poised to continue”.
