DNA Testing Advances in Hina Javed Murder Case

LAHORE: DNA tests of key suspects in the Hina Javed murder case have been completed at the Punjab Forensic Science Agency. Samples from her husband, father-in-law and domestic worker Zeeshan were collected in the presence of her brother, Fahad Javed. During the investigation, Zeeshan allegedly confessed and claimed Hina’s husband offered Rs100,000 for the killing. Both husband Faisal Asghar and his father denied the allegations. Sindh moves to review Mir Raza Ali murder probe

Rawalpindi court grants remand in Hina Javed case

RAWALPINDI: A duty magistrate in Rawalpindi on Sunday remanded Hina Javed’s husband and a servant in police custody for three days in connection with her murder. Hina was found dead in her apartment’s washroom on Thursday, with police reporting signs of torture and a wire around her neck. Rawalpindi woman found dead in apartment

RAWALPINDI: Police have registered a murder case after a 45-year-old woman was found dead with her hands tied behind her back at an apartment. The FIR was lodged on Aug 20 at Civil Lines police station under Sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code on her brother Fahad’s complaint.
