US Strikes in Iran Leave Dozens of Casualties

At least 18 people were killed and 142 wounded in recent US air strikes in Iran, the Health Ministry said Thursday, as regional tensions rise following a month-long lull. Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour said the casualties occurred from August 30 to September 2, including 61 women and 44 children among the wounded. Two women and one child were killed. Gaza death toll rises

At least two Palestinians have been killed and 32 wounded by Israeli attacks on Gaza in the past 24 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry. Gaza death toll rises

At least two Palestinians have been killed and 14 injured in new Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip in the past 48 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry. Israel has killed at least 1,262 people and injured 4,168 in Gaza since the US-brokered “ceasefire” came into effect last October, the ministry said in a statement on Telegram. Two civilians have been killed and 14 injured in the latest Houthi attacks on the central city of Marib, says the health minister of Yemen’s internationally recognised government. Bangladesh President Shahabuddin resigns citing ill health

Bangladesh's president, a close ally of former premier Sheikh Hasina, resigned from the largely ceremonial role on Friday, citing ill health. President Mohammed Shahabuddin confirmed he was stepping down in a call with AFP. At least 53 Iranian civilians killed since fighting intensified in June

Eight Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza today

Israeli attacks in southern and central Gaza today killed at least eight people, including two children, and wounded at least 20, according to health officials and emergency services. It was reported that three people were killed and several injured when an Israeli drone struck a group of civilians, according to Al-Aqsa Hospital. One of the victims was an eight-year-old. Gaza’s sick and wounded unable to access medical treatment

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, almost 21,000 people should have been allowed to leave the enclave by now. This was the figure promised in the US-led deal agreed last October. About one-third of them were patients in need of urgent medical care, accompanied by two companions each. In reality, fewer than 7,500 people have been allowed to leave – a compliance rate of just 36 percent. Lebanon death toll from Israeli strikes rises

At least 4,257 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across Lebanon since March 2, the Health Ministry says, adding that more than 12,000 have also been wounded. Lebanon and Israel signed a US-brokered framework agreement on Friday following months of direct negotiations.
