Health Ministry Scraps Vaccination System Amid Probe

The health ministry has abolished the Border Health Services vaccination setup and plans to issue a fresh tender for meningitis and influenza vaccines within a month. Officials were arrested over alleged procurement irregularities and unauthorised committees. Meanwhile, religious pilgrims and overseas job seekers have been directed to arrange mandatory vaccinations through travel agents until a replacement system is established.
