Pakistan Navy submarine completes first live-fire test

Pakistan’s first Hangor-class submarine successfully conducted its maiden live weapon firing in the Arabian Sea, the Inter-Services Public Relations said. The newly inducted PNS/M HANGOR accurately struck a designated long-range target with an anti-ship cruise missile. Israeli settlers have launched attacks on an area called Abu al-Hamra in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Wafa News Agency reports. Local sources told Wafa and our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic that a group of settlers attacked an industrial facility and a barn belonging to a farmer named Samer Abu Mazen, firing live ammunition in the area. Yemen Fighting Escalates as Ceasefire Collapses

Fighting between Yemen’s Saudi-backed government forces and Houthi rebels killed more than 60 people on Saturday, including civilians, medical and military sources said. Government forces lost 26 troops, while the Houthis reported 31 fighters killed during clashes in southwestern Yemen.
