CDA Moves to Upgrade Jinnah Convention Centre

The Capital Development Authority has invited firms to prequalify for upgrading and expanding Islamabad’s Jinnah Convention Centre ahead of next year’s Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit. A new block is also planned, while the proposed NICEEC project near Malpur faces uncertainty due to time constraints. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov discussed regional developments on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has talked to Middle East counterparts on the latest regional developments. The conversations were held in phone calls with the foreign ministers of Egypt, Turkiye, and Kuwait. Pakistan voices concern over developments in India

Pakistan on Sunday expressed strong concern over the demolition of a historic mosque in India’s Uttar Pradesh.
