Smotrich repeats call to replicate West Bank settlement policies in additional areas

Israel’s finance minister has vowed to expand West Bank settlement policies to northern and southern Israel, in response to an alleged espionage case reported by Israeli media. “It’s time to bring the revolution in Judea and Samaria to the Galilee and the Negev, in order to save the State of Israel from the next October 7,” Bezalel Smotrich said on X. Heavy Rain Disrupts Routine in Twin Cities

RAWALPINDI: Heavy rain lashed Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Tuesday, flooding low-lying areas and sharply raising water levels in Leh Nullah. The PMD reported 29 feet at Kattarian and 23.5 feet at Gawalmandi, prompting evacuations as catchment areas received heavy rainfall. Several parts of Islamabad also recorded significant rain, with drains overflowing. Rain Warning Issued for Punjab and KP

Lebanon’s Aoun says Israeli attacks ‘clear message to the negotiation track’

Israel confirms its forces carried out attacks on southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh, Ansar areas

Earlier, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that seven people were killed and three wounded when Israeli warplanes struck a house on the outskirts of Ansar village towards Zrarieh village at dawn, destroying the building. The Israeli military now claimed its overnight attacks on the Nabatieh and Ansar areas of southern Lebanon were carried out in response to what it described as an action by Hezbollah against Israeli soldiers at the Ali al-Taher Ridge. Jordan says it was targeted by six Iranian missiles

Jordan’s military has intercepted four Iranian missiles targeting the kingdom, while two other missiles fell in remote, uninhabited areas, according to the Petra news agency. Citing an anonymous military source, the agency said that air defence systems detected six missiles coming from Iranian territory and dealt with them immediately upon entering Jordanian airspace. Hamas calls on Palestinians to confront West Bank settlement expansions

Hamas official Abdul Rahman Shadid has urged people across the occupied West Bank to establish a presence in areas targeted for Israeli settlement expansions to fight forced displacement. “Settler violence will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinian people or uprooting them from their land,” he said in a statement. “Resistance and steadfastness remain the most effective means of confronting Israeli occupation policies and settlement expansion.
