Islamabad: On Thursday, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, in a press release, announced that a fault had been reported in the international submarine cable, SMW4, operated by PTCL, in the Indian ocean. Due to this inconvenience, some internet users might experience downgraded speeds during peak hours, it added. The authority asserted to use the alternate measures during this issue. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is controlling the situation and will continue to update on it.
