On March 21, a Moscow court labeled Meta Platforms Inc (FB.O) an “extremist organization”. It also said that the ruling would not apply to its WhatsApp messenger service, directing its ire on the company’s already banned Facebook and Instagram social networks. Meta did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
